Introduction of Pressure Type Foam Proportioner Device
Pressure type proportioner is an important unit for all kinds of foam proportional mixture system, especially equipped on bladder tanks. It is used to mix water with foam concentrate at a certain ratio (3% or 6%) to get foam solution.
How does it work?
This PHY series is the simplest proportioner with a main pipe and two branch pipes-one is the water inlet branch pipe (to the tank), and the other is the foam concentrate outlet branch pipe (from the tank). There is a concentric reducer between the two branch pipes. When pressurized water(100%) flows through the main pipe, a small part of water(3%/6%) flows into the water inlet branch pipe by the obstruct of the concentric reducer and presses the bladder in the tank to force equivalent foam concentrate to come out from the concentrate outlet branch pipe, which will be mixed with the main water flow to generate proportional foam solution.
